Match: DING DING! The Miz and Matt Hardy glare at one another from across the ring, but the staredown stops before it really gets started, Matt Hardy flies straight into hammering away on The Miz with rights and lefts, kicks, punches. Hardy forces Miz into the ropes Cactus Clothesline! This match has already spilled out of the ring! Hardy guides Miz to the security barrier by holding the back of his head! Bang! The sound of The Miz' face bouncing into that wall can be heard throughout the entire arena! And the fans are loving this!. Hardy looks to try this again and gets nothing! Miz blocks and rams Matt's own head into the barrier, he pulls a groggy Hardy to his feet and Irish Whips him, sending him careening into the steel steps with a sickening noise sounding throughout the building on impact! “Oh!” the fans gasp as Hardy falls to the ground in pain holding his knee. The Miz waits for Matt Hardy to stand, he starts to, Miz runs Knee to the face, Could it be a reality check in the early goings? No! Matt blocks the Neckbreaker and turns Side-Effect counter!

Hardy, Realizing perhaps that going to the outside this early on was a bad idea grabs a chair from the ringside area and re-enters the ring, waiting for The Miz to drag return to it himself, Matt seems to show some damage to his knee as he hops on the spot a little. The Miz starts to stand he starts to rush back into the ring, but Hardy runs to the arpon chair in hand, The Miz backs awasy! The fans pop huge! The Miz again attempts to get into the ring, this time he makes it and ducks the chairshot from Hardy! DDT! Hardy's head bounces off the steel chair! Cover! 1...2...No! The Miz is feeling it now! He might not have gotten the win but he's feeling confident, that smirk that oh-so-commonly crosses the face of the Awesome One is in plain view now, some call it cockiness, But the Miz has confidence! He delivers a huge stomp to the back of Matt Hardy and another one! Miz pulls hardy into a sitting position, Cravate! The Miz is just torquing Hardy's already-damaged neck! Hold on! That's new The Miz kneels into the move, placing his knee on Hardy's own damaged leg!

Michael Cole: The Miz just working away at Matt Hardy’s leg and neck areas, a strategy that even though isn’t ‘unique’, is usually effective. Can Matt Hardy battle back from this? Right now he doesn’t look to be in a great situation.

Jerry Lawler: Sometimes that happens, and with the ‘No Disqualification’ stipulation in effect, it makes it all the more difficult for Matt Hardy to get back into this Match. However, Matt Hardy’s no stranger to table, ladders, and chairs and all of those weapons are legal in this Match. Maybe Matt Hardy will teach The Miz a thing or two about ‘No Disqualification’.

Hardy screams in pain and begins to deliver elbow after elbow in a struggle to break the hold! The Miz tenaciously hangs on but not for too long, Hardy breaks the hold and starts to get to his feet, hobbling a bit, Miz off the ropes! Hardy ducks a Cothesline! Breaks into a run of his own! Double Clothesline! Both superstars go down hard and the fans begin to cheer, the arena fills with “Hardy!” chants from the crowd. Both superstars start to get to their feet, Hardy chants still blaring in the crowd, The Miz is the first to make it to his feet, and Hardy follows shakily soon after. Hardy lands a shot and the crowd cheers! The Miz responds in kind to a dose of heat! Another shot from Hardy! One from the Miz! Big right hand from Hardy, the Miz ducks from the ring and stumbles around to the announce table, Hardy can't see it but The Miz has disconnected the Television monitor. Matt slides from the ring and starts to follow the Miz who simply seems to be leaning against the table out of pure exhaustion Monitor to the face! Hardy staggers back a glassy look in his eyes and a small. bleeding cut on his forehead. He falls to the ground and The Miz receives tonnes of heat!

The Miz raises his arms taunting to the crowd! The fans give him major heat is his cry of “I'm Awesome!” fills the arena! The fans may not like it, but after a set-up like that, it's certainly hard to argue that The Miz is a savvy and talented competitor. He pulls Matt Hardy to his feet and delivers a hard shot to the wound on the head of the 'Man Who Will Not Die'! Matt staggers back against the ring apron and The Miz persues him delivering another headshot Hardy has nowhere to go this time, he's pinned against the Apron, but maybe that's how Hardy wants it! He delivers a shot of his own! And another! The Miz sprawls backward but quickly charges back into a Drop Toe Hold from Hardy! Miz' head bounces off the apron and he seems stunned. Hardy rolls back into the ring slowly, favoring his knee and clearly out of it after that monitor shot. Hardy grabs the Chair as the Miz reenters the ring! Boom! Chair to the skull! Matt Hardy feels that he's got a chance to end it here, he climbs to the top rope! The fans are excited!

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Hardy cries and the fans jump to their feet and scream in excitement! Matt leaps, looking for that Legdrop! The Miz moves out of the way! Hardy crashes and burns holding his leg in pain, that could be it right there! The Miz sees his opportunity! Cover! 1...2..No! Matt hardy kicks out at the last possible fraction of a second! The fans go balistic! The Miz stands and begins to shout at the Referee, that had to be three, but no!

Michael Cole: That looked to be it! Matt Hardy took the risk and it didn’t pay off! His leg is already in a good deal of pain, and missing the Leg Drop might have been Hardy’s last chance to get back into this Match. If The Miz can capitalize, he’ll be able to win this Match and retain the Title.

An Irate Miz moves to the corner and begins to expose the Turnbuckle to massive heat, yes it's legal, but it's still a major short cut! The Miz turns and pulls a very sore Matt Hardy to his feet, the two superstars start to trade blows again, this time the fans watch in silence, after Hardy hits his 4th punch in the series he attempts an Irish Whip! The Miz blocks and whips Hardy for himself! Boom! Hardy manages to turn before hitting the exposed steel so only his back connects but still that move was simply devastating!

The Miz charges! Looking for that vicious Corner Clothesline he executes so well! Hardy moves at the last second! The Miz' neck snaps against the ropes, normally an opponent's body would stop that from happening! Hardy grabs The Miz and hurls him straight into the corner leaving a staggered and injured Miz groaning in pain in the corner! Hardy limps his way over to the chair and back toward The Miz, He sets the chair up a short distance away from the champion and the fans pop in excitement! Hardy backs off before charging and leaping off the chair, usually this move is performed by his brother Jeff, but Matt's no stranger to flying either will he pull it off Poetry in Mo- No! The Miz moves, causing Hardy's knee to crash into the exposed turnbuckle! Matt falls to the ground in pain! The Miz groggily drags Hardy to his feet and positions him directly in front of the Chair! Skull Crushing Finale on the chair! The Miz Shoots the Half, cover, hook of the leg. 1...2...3 After that move, the win was academic for The Miz.

Winner [and still the WWE United States Champion]: The Miz

Michael Cole: You know, this isn’t the type of performance we normally see from either of these guys, but I definitely enjoyed the Match. Like him or not, The Miz has carried the United States Championship with pride and continues to do so, and Matt Hardy’s always good to watch in the ring. Tonight wasn’t Matt’s night, as The Miz utilized the ‘No Disqualification’ stipulation and held onto the Gold!

Jerry Lawler: I’ve never been a fan of The Miz as a person, but I will say that he was impressive tonight. Matt Hardy gave it his all, but The Miz said on RAW that he was going to win, and he lived up to it. Maybe The Miz will be a candidate for ‘Breakout Star of the Year’ as it wasn’t really until this year that he started to make an impact as a Singles Competitor.

Michael Cole: Maybe; who knows? Anyway, we’re gonna send you over to ECW as they prepare for a huge ECW Championship Triple Threat Match between ‘Captain Charisma’ Christian, ‘The Rated-R Superstar’ Edge, and ‘The Gold Standard’ Shelton Benjamin!

Match: DING DING! The match gets underway as the three superstars stare each other down. Edge quickly rolls out of the ring, deciding to sit and wait back for a bit. Christian and Benjamin quickly lock up. Christian quickly hits a DDT on Benjamin. Christian goes for a quick pin, but Benjamin breaks out before one. Christian grabs Benjamin by the hair and tries to lift him to his feet, but Benjamin reverses and tackles Christian to the ground. Benjamin begins to unload on Christian, repeatedly punching him.

Edge jumps up onto apron and attempts to get into the ring, only to be met with a Clothesline by Benjamin. Benjamin turns around as Christian gets to his feet. Benjamin grabs Christian and hits him with a deadly Suplex! Benjamin grabs Christian, but Christian quickly pushes Benjamin off of him, into the ropes. Christian makes it to his feet as Benjamin recovers from the push. They stare each other down for a moment. The crowd seems to be behind both superstars as cheers of “Benjamin!” and “Christian!” could be heard.

Benjamin kicks Christian in the gut. He quickly bounces off the ropes, gaining momentum. He goes for a Clothesline, but Christian ducks. Benjamin rebounds off the ropes, trying once more. Dropkick from Captain Charisma! Christian gets up and throws his arms in the air, getting the crowd behind him. He turns around to pin Benjamin – DIVING SPEAR ! The Ultimate Opportunist came out of nowhere with that move! Edge smirks and begins to taunt the crowd, receiving quite a few boos.

Edge doesn’t waste any time as he begins to wail on the down Benjamin. Edge looks over and dropkicks the side of the Gold Standard, knocking him out of the ring. Edge looks over at a stirring Christian. Edge backs up into the corner and places a hand on the ground. He waits as Christian gets to his feet. He rushes forward – Spear! – wait, no! Christian moved just in time! Edge’s shoulder slammed into the turnbuckle. Christian quickly jumps up – Dropkick! – to the back of Edge. Edge’s head slams into the turnbuckle in front of him. Christian goes for the pin. 1! 2! 3! – No! Benjamin pulled Christian off of Edge just in the nick of time! Christian gets up – Paydirt! Benjamin goes for the pin. 1! 2! Christian manages to get his foot on the bottom rope!

Benjamin has a look of frustration on his face as he grabs Christian by the hair and gets him to his feet. Benjamin and Christian lock up. Benjamin picks him up, looking for a Suplex. He turns around, Spear! from the Rated R Superstar! Benjamin goes down, bringing Christian down with him. All three superstars lay on the ground, motionless. Edge is the first to make it to his feet. He quickly backs up into the corner, looking for another Spear on the first person to get up. Benjamin rolls to the side, trying to get to his feet as Christian begins to make it to his feet. Edge rushes forward – Superkick! from the Gold Standard! Edge drops like a ragdoll and rolls out of the ring.

Benjamin turns around and is met with a fist to the chest from Captain Charisma. Benjamin stays on his feet and the two begins to trade blows back and forth. Benjamin attempts a kick, but Christian blocks it. Christian holds onto the foot – Dragon Whip! – No! Christian dodged the kick just in time. Benjamin slams hard into the matt. Christian goes for a pin, but Benjamin kicks out at 2. Christian has a look of astonish as his face.

Christian brings Benjamin to his feet before hitting a DDT on him. Edge slowly crawls back into the ring. Edge gets to his feet. Christian quickly kicks him in the gut, but Edge punches him in the chest. The two of them begin to trade blows. Christian gets the upper hand and knocks Edge down, who then rolls into the corner. Christian turns around, refocusing his attention on Benjamin. He brings him to his feet once more. Christian pulls him to the center of the ring. Killswitch! No! Benjamin blocks and pushes Christian. Christian trips, and Benjamin is hit a Spear! Benjamin is laid out on the matt. Edge goes for the cover. 1! 2! 3!

Winner [And still the ECW Champion]: Edge

Todd Grisham: ‘The Ultimate Opportunist’ strikes again! From what seemed like out of nowhere, Edge blasted ‘The Gold Standard’ with the third Spear in this highly-competitive Matchup to once again leave a Pay-Per-View as the ECW Champion! Whose going to be able to take the Championship from ‘The Rated-R Superstar’?!

Matt Striker: I have no idea, Todd, but I’ve been proven right yet again. I said last week on ECW that Edge would do whatever it takes to win, and even after being taken down, Edge was back in this Match and hit that Spear to capitalize on the victory! Now it looked like Christian was going to be hit with the Spear, but he dodged it, causing Edge to hit Benjamin instead! Christian’s still unable to take the Championship that he wants so badly from his brother!

Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, we will now take you over to Monday Night RAW once again as two upstart superstars who have nothing but hatred for one another, Axle Comuteza and Scott Anderson, former best friends, well now they go one-on-one! Whose going to win this heated battle?!

Image

Match: DING DING! ‘Axle, Axle, Axle, Axle’ echoes throughout the arena as the crowd continues to chant, trying to get behind the young, high-flying masterpiece before this contest even gets underway. Axle stands across the ring from the man he used to consider his best friend, only now he sees him as the man he wants to beat the hell out of more than anyone else. Personally, Scott doesn’t want to fight Axle, but he has no choice so he’s going to make quick work of his ‘joke’ of an opponent and move on to bigger and better things. The two lock-up mid-ring, but Axle loses it and begins to hammer away with Right Hands. The crowd goes wild, but Scott’s not so cool with it as he slides out of the ring and tells the Referee to keep Axle under control. The crowd boos as Scott stands on the outside of the ring, yelling insults at Axle where he’s safe—for now. Axle tries to exit the ring, but the Referee blocks him. Yeah right, only for a second. He rebounds off the ropes, moves past the Referee, and hits a Baseball Slide right to Scott’s face, taking the arrogant high-flyer down. More cheers from the crowd as Scott just had to eat his words, pun intended. Feeling his anger begin to intensify, Axle slides out of the ring. He grabs Scott and hits a couple more right hands. He throws a chop in there for good measure. He grabs Scott and tries to Irish Whip him into the security barricade. Unfortunately, Scott gets in his first bit of offense and reverses the move, sending Axle into the barricade instead. The crowd boos as Axle falls to a seated position against the barricade.

Scott taunts Axle, yelling at him, berating him. He thinks Axle’s a waste of space and he’s going to prove it in this Match. Scott hits a few kicks to add insult to injury before rolling Axle into the ring. He slides in, pushes Axle to the mat, tries the cover—1! 2! Not even close. Axle’s got tons more determination than Scott to win, because he actually feels he has something to prove. “Just give up already!” Scott yells in anger; he feels he’s wasting his time and would rather be doing something else. Scott gets to his feet. He stomps on the mat, and turns his attention to the Referee for a second. He stands behind Axle, wanting to deliver a kick to the back of the skull and end this thing before it even really gets going. Axle gets up as Scott expected, but the kick—not so much! Axle ducks it and hits a Drop Toehold, taking Scott down to the mat! Axle rolls over him, then Scott gets to his feet and Axle takes him down with a Clothesline! The crowd pops, and Axle begins to build some more momentum as he takes him down with a second one! The third time, he goes for another Clothesline but this one is more of an ‘R-Truth’ style Spinning Clothesline. It takes Scott down nonetheless! Axle might have it here, cover—1! 2! Scott kicks out.

Michael Cole: Anyone who knows Axle Couteza or has even seen him compete knows that he’s one of the best high-flyers in this business. He’s done some moves that I never even knew were possible. However, we’re not seeing as much of the high-flying tonight, King. I think this whole thing with Scott has really just gotten inside Axle’s head, and is really making it hard for him to be able to compete at such a level.

Scott Anderson: It’s a good possibility, Michael. Axle’s talented but so is Scott, and since Scott doesn’t really have any emotional feelings toward this whole thing, he’s able to compete without having his judgement clouded. That’s not a good thing for Axle at all.

Both superstars are back up and Axle goes for a DDT. Scott blocks it with ease. He spins out of it and hits a kick to the chest. He goes for a Scissors Kick, but Axle dodges it. Axle jumps and connects with a Spinning Wheel Kick! Scott’s down! The crowd pops as Axle exits to the ring apron. He jumps from the ring apron to the ropes, woah! Axle goes for a Shooting Star Press right from the ropes, but Scott dodges it! Axle hits the mat pretty hard. Scott goes for a Chickenwing Pin, but Axle kicks out at a long two! It seems Axle’s been able to get back into his high-flying style again, and Scott’s realizing this. Scott Irish Whips him into the corner. He goes for a Corner Clothesline, but Axle sticks his feet out and Scott gets a face-full of boot! Axle jumps from the mat to the top, backwards, and jumps! DIVING FAME ASSER! Axle takes Scott face-first into the mat! Cover—1! 2! 3--No! Scott kicks out again! The crowd is really starting to get into this Match as another ‘Axle’ chant fills the arena. Axle can hear the chants from the crowd, but he’s sort of in this state where his main focus is just taking out all his built up anger and frustration on Scott, who basically turned on him for no reason other than his own selfishness. As Scott gets back to a vertical base, Axle tries to hit a Right Hand, but Scott ducks out of the ring again. There’s more boos from the crowd as Scott moves toward the end of the ramp, trying to recover and ignoring the boos from the crowd. Axle stares at him, then runs the ropes, CORKSCREW BODY PRESS! Both superstars are down on the outside!

Jerry Lawler: Axle’s flyin’ all over the place now, Michael! Maybe he heard what you said! [King laughs, jokingly.] In all seriousness, Axle’s in the zone right now and that’s not doing Scott any favors! I know Scott’s a high-flyer too, but he seems to want to wrestle a technical style now and distance himself from Axle as much as possible. Either Scott needs to hit some high-flying moves, or Axle’s going to win this.

“Get in the ring!” The Referee yells at the two on the outside. Not so much caring about what he has to say, Axle picks Scott up and Irish Whips him into the ring steps. CLANK! The stairs detach from the ring post and Scott grabs his back in pain. There’s intensity in Axle’s eyes as he’s been waiting for weeks for this. He tries to grab Scott again, but Scott quickly moves away from him and hightails it over the security barricade. The crowd boos as Scott tries to retreat, but Axle jumps right up onto the ring barricade. He jumps and takes Scott down with a Bulldog on the concrete! Meanwhile, the Referee’s count that no one was paying any attention to has reached 7. It’s obvious this count doesn’t matter, as Axle didn’t really care about a Match, more of a damage infliction. He and Scott continue to brawl, this time Scott actually gets in a couple of Right Hands. Axle blocks a kick attempt and throws Scott into what looks like a table set up in the crowd for security. The fans are all around both of them and continue to cheer as Axle brings the pain. He throws Scott onto the table and all of the security stuff falls off of it. “8! 9! 10! Ring the bell!” The Referee signals for the bell, but no one cares.

Winner: None [No Contest]

Axle begins to climb the stairs in the crowd, and walks to his left. He reaches the barricade that’s right above where Scott is on the table.

Michael Cole: Axle Comuteza just unleashing his fury on Scott Anderson here, King! What’s he got in mind now?!

Jerry Lawler: He’s got Scott on that table, and he’s above him, put two and two together, Michael!

King’s right, as Axle climbs onto the steel barricade. Fans step back to see this ridiculous stunt, and sure enough, Axle flips! SHOOTING STAR LEG DROP! From ten feet above down onto the table! “Holy Shit!” chants fill the arena as both superstars are down.

Michael Cole: OH MY GOD! Axle Comuteza just jumped onto Scott Anderson from ten feet in the air, right in the crowd!

Match: DING DING! The crowd cheers as we prepare for one of three Main Event Matches; These two have really made strong statements over the past couple of weeks and this is the first time that either of them will Main Event a Pay-Per-View. Morrison and Ziggler stand face-to-face, circling each other. They go to lock-up, but Ziggler takes a step back. He looks around, saying he was "just warming up" and Morrison rolls his eyes. He moves toward Ziggler, who ducks. He catches Morrison with a right hand, knocking 'The Guru of Greatness' into the ropes. Ziggler quickly leans against Morrison, then grabs his arm and Irish Whips him to the other side of the ring. Morrison rebounds off the ropes and takes Ziggler down with a Jumping Hook Kick. The crowd pops as the WWE Champion quickly moves to the cover--1! 2! Ziggler gets the shoulder up, not to the surprise of anyone except maybe the two young fans in the crowd who actually expected the Match to end that quickly. Preparing to dazzle the crowd yet again, John Morrison spins to his feet, runs toward Ziggler, and flips, STANDING STAR PRESS! Ziggler puts his knees up! Morrison lands chest-first on Ziggler's knees and rolls to the side. Ziggler takes advantage and gets the lateral press; 1! 2! Morrison manages to kick out.

'The Perfectionist' gets to his feet. He kicks Morrison hard in the back; Morrison falls to the mat. Ziggler runs his fingers through his hair and taunts the crowd, to which they respond with boos. He jumps--JUMPING ELBOW DROP! Hooks the legs--1! 2! "That was three!" Ziggler yells at the Referee, who's not having any of it. Ziggler knows how big of an opportunity this is and the fact that he's having some trouble getting the win despite the fact that it's still kind of the earlygoing is just annoying him. He forces Morrison back to the mat and tries the cover again; 1! 2! 3!--No! Morrison kicks out a second time. The fans cheer; they want the WWE Champion to win, and he's gonna need some support to be able to do that. Dolph Ziggler gets to his feet. He stomps the mat a couple of times, getting himself ready to hit a move that he hopes will finish the Match. Morrison begins to get to his feet; he places one foot on the mat and places his hand against his right knee. Finally getting to his feet, Morrison doesn’t have much time to react as Ziggler jumps, grabs him—THE FIRST IMPRESSION! Hold it, no! Morrison blocks it with an impressive Russian Leg Sweep! The crowd pops! Morrison rolls backwards, gets to his feet—STANDING STAR PRESS! Hooks the leg—1! 2! 3—No! Dolph Ziggler gets the shoulder up! John Morrison begins to feel the momentum; he’s got Ziggler down and he just needs to capitalize on the victory. Ziggler sits up, trying to get back in the Match. Morrison, determined to win here, runs forward and drives a knee right into Ziggler’s face! You can hear the impact of the move as it nearly rocks the arena. Morrison moves to the corner; he grabs the ropes and looks around at the fans. STARSHIP PAIN! That’s gonna—Ziggler blocks it! Dolph Ziggler runs into the ropes and Morrison gets crotched on the top rope! The crowd boos and Morrison’s in a lot of pain. Ziggler hits a Dropkick while Morrison’s still on the top rope, and ‘The Guru of Greatness’ falls to ringside. Ziggler leans against the ropes to recover as Morrison tries to recover on the outside.

Jim Ross: You’ve gotta admire the ring sense of Dolph Ziggler at such a young age. I mean this guy’s been in the ring with pretty much every veteran still wrestling today, so he’s definitely learned things, but John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler are almost equal in terms of wrestling ability, so for him to be able to combat Morrison’s offense so effectively is impressive.

Josh Matthews: These two were Former Tag Team Champions not once, but twice, so they know each other’s moves like the backs of their own hands, but to an extent. What I mean by that is, both John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler are continuously adding new moves to their arsenal and that’s always a positive, no matter how many times you’ve faced the opponent prior. This is only the second time these two have competed against one another in Singles Competition, though.

John Morrison climbs onto the ring apron to get back into the ring. Dolph Ziggler takes advantage, kneeing Morrison in the head before he can get back into the ring. Morrison holds onto the ring apron, but Ziggler grabs him. He lifts Morrison’s arm over his shoulder, then Suplexes ‘The Shaman of Sexy’ into the ring. Ziggler grins as he shifts into the lateral press—1! 2! 3—No! Dolph Ziggler gets in the Referee’s face. The crowd boos as Ziggler begins to yell at the Official, telling him that he’s not doing his job properly. Ziggler doesn’t notice Morrison from behind, though! Morrison gets the Backslide Pin—1! 2! 3—No! Talk about close! Dolph Ziggler rolls to his feet and goes for a Clothesline, but John Morrison ducks it. Morrison rebounds off the opposite ropes and takes Ziggler down with a Forearm Smash! And a second one! Ziggler tries another Clothesline! This time, Morrison ducks it and hits a Pele Kick! ‘The Guru of Greatness’ is feeling it here! Morrison grabs Ziggler’s head; he pulls the arrogant superstar to his feet, taunts for the crowd—MOONLIGHT DRIVE! John Morrison wins it! Shoots the half, hooks the legs—1! 2! 3—No! John Morrison doesn’t believe it! Dolph Ziggler gets the shoulder up!

John Morrison doesn’t believe it; very rarely has someone been able to kick out of the Moonlight Drive, and this is the second time in three weeks that Dolph Ziggler has been able to do so.. ‘Morrison’ chants begin to fill the arena as the WWE Champion tries to figure out a way to get this Match won. He’s tired as it is and he doesn’t want to lose the WWE Championship in his first-ever Title Defense. Dolph Ziggler is still on the mat. He begins to move toward the ropes. After a second, Ziggler grabs the ropes and pulls himself to his feet. He turns around to face John Morrison, who kicks him in the chest. Morrison goes for a Suplex, but Ziggler lands on his feet. Neither superstar has great balance after the counter, but Morrison hits a back kick to the chest. Ziggler stumbles forward, and Morrison runs to the ropes. FLYING CHUCK! Woah, Ziggler ducks it! Morrison lands on his feet behind Ziggler, who turns around. He runs toward Morrison; Morrison grabs him—INSIDE CRADLE! 1! 2! Kickout! The same move that put Dolph Ziggler away last time wasn’t quite enough this time around!

Jim Ross: My God how close was that! Three weeks ago when these two faced-off for the first time, it was John Morrison who won with that exact move, but this time Dolph Ziggler had the experience to expect it and combat it effectively. Brilliant performances from both superstars!

Josh Matthews: You can hear the crowd as they’re red-hot for Smackdown’s Main Event here tonight! These two are the future of Smackdown and this Match is a future Wrestlemania Main Event! The question now is, whose going to put who away? These two have hit every move in the book; this Match is just one move away from ending, J.R.!

Both superstars run toward one another; they’re tired, fatigued, however you want to say it, and neither one can really take much more. They’re so evenly Matched that they’re practically trading moves here, but like Josh said that one big move will put an end to this thing. Narrowly avoiding an in-ring collision, John Morrison ducks underneath Ziggler’s attempted Clothesline. He turns around and catches Ziggler with a right hook to the face. Ziggler goes for something, but Morrison blocks whatever it is. Morrison places his arm over Ziggler’s neck and hits an STO Backbreaker, right on his knee! Then, rather than let Ziggler fall to the mat, Morrison pulls him right back up and hits a Reverse Neckbreaker! Could that be enough?! Morrison rolls back into the cover—1! 2! 3—No! Still not enough, and even the Referee almost looked surprised this time! Dolph Ziggler is able to get his foot on the bottom rope and break the count. ‘This is Awesome!’ chants fill the arena for the first time tonight, as the crowd is really getting into this competitive contest! Ziggler sits up, then advances to a standing position, or tries to one might say. Morrison stops him in his tracks with a knee right to the face that echoes throughout the arena. He falls back to the mat, and Morrison moves him to the corner! The crowd pops as Morrison begins to fire up the jets! He jum,ps to the top—STARSHIP PAIN! Hey wait a minute! DING DING! The Referee calls for the bell as – perhaps the least person you’d expect – John Cena pushes Morrison off the top rope and to the ringside area. ‘The Shaman of Sexy’ might have lost some of his ‘sexy’ as he crashed face-first into the security barricade.

Winner [by Disqualification & still the WWE Champion]: John Morrison

The crowd has no idea what’s going on here or why John Cena of all people decided to get involved, but what’s done is done and John Morrison is out cold after that shot. Cena enters the ring to nothing but boos. It’s not like the usual when kids cheer him and adults boo him, there’s one-hundred percent heat in the arena for him.

Jim Ross: What in the hell?! John Cena just ruined this five-star contest and nearly be-headed the World’s Champion in the process! Josh, I’m having some trouble processing what we’ve just seen! John Cena of all people has just screwed both John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler out of the WWE Championship, and why?!

Josh Matthews: I’d never expect something like this from John Cena, but I agree it’s completely uncalled for! This Match was one it’s way to making Smackdown proud as the undeniable Match of the night from a wrestling standpoint, but now what’s more important is why the hell John Cena’s even out here. Wait, what’s he doing now?

Ignoring the boos from the crowd and showing no emotion, Cena stares at Ziggler. “What the hell are you thinking?!” Ziggler yells at Cena. Not only did he just end the Title Match that Ziggler might have had a chance at winning, he took out Morrison for no reason and even Ziggler realizes how cowardous that was. Cena ignores him, though, and hoists him onto his shoulders for an F-U! OH! Plants him right on the mat! ‘You Suck’ chants fill the arena and the boos are even louder than before as John Cena leaves both superstars – and tons of unanswered questions – at ringside.

Match: “Batista!” chants fill the arena right off the bat as Batista opts to start for his team. Chris West has no problem with that. Brownlee opts to start for his team, and since Batista’s in, no one else is going to complain. Brownlee suggests a lock-up for whatever reason, and Batista easily overpowers him, pushing him backwards. Brownlee rolls back and gets to his feet. He stares at Batista and the two circle each other. Brownlee runs forward and Batista tries a Big Boot, but Brownlee ducks it and gets a Hip Toss. He hits a Leg Drop to the back of the head and turns Batista over for a cover. “1! 2!” Batista kicks out with ease. Brownlee drops an elbow to the chest and tries another cover, trying to keep Batista grounded. “1!” Batista kicks out in a powerful fashion, throwing Brownlee half-way across the ring in the process. Brownlee applies a Reverse Chinlock, but Batista gets to a vertical base in a matter of seconds. He hits a Snapmare on Brownlee and kicks him in the back so hard it echoes throughout the arena. Brownlee falls to the mat in pain. Cover by Batista! “1! 2!” Batista grabs Brownlee and pulls him to his feet. He lifts him above his shoulders going for a Vertical Suplex, but Brownlee reverses it into a DDT. The crowd boos as Brownlee hooks the legs. “1! 2! Three—no!” Batista kicks out! Brownlee doesn’t believe it, but there’s nothing he can do about it. He fires away at Batista with Right Hands; ‘The Animal’ quickly pushes him into the ropes and out of the ring.

Brownlee’s eyes widen in surprise as the beastly Batista stares at him from inside the ring. He taunts him to come back in and fight, but Brownlee decides to take a rest and recover. Smart strategy. Brownlee slides back into the ring. Batista goes for a Clothesline, but Brownlee ducks it. He takes Batista down with a Dropkick He hooks the legs, hoping to score an upset—“1! 2!” Batista gets the shoulder out again. Batista gets to his feet, holding his leg. He landed awkwardly on it after the Dropkick, and their opponents had damaged his leg a couple of times over the past few weeks. Brownlee hits a Reverse Elbow to the face, and Batista stumbles backwards. Brownlee goes for an Irish Whip, but Batista blocks it, and pulls him forward. Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Impressive strength by Batista, who falls to one knee, his right leg still in pain. “Batista” chants fill the arena as the fans try to get behind Batista, will him to continue the fight. Brownlee runs out of the corner and hits a Shining Wizard that’s heard throughout the arena. As Batista falls face-first to the mat, it looks as if this could be over. Brownlee turns him over, hooks the inside leg—“1! 2! Three—no!” Batista manages to get the shoulder up! Brownlee’s agitated now. He ignores it and gets to his feet. Brownlee grabs Batista in the clutch. He goes for a DDT, but Batista spins out of it. Batista lifts Brownlee up! Goes for the Spinebuster, but no! The pain in his leg is too much, and he falls to one knee. Brownlee tries a second Shining Wizard, but no such luck as ‘The Animal’ nails a Spear! A huge pop from the crowd as Chris West extends his hand for a much-needed Tag. Brownlee could use one too.

Matt Striker: Pay close attention to the damage that Brownlee has done to Batista’s leg in this Match and over the past couple of weeks. It’s a very sound strategy and it’s working as Batista’s having trouble hitting his signature moves at this point. He needs to make the Tag if he wants to hold onto those Titles.

Todd Grisham: Up to this point, no Championships have changed hands, but if things work in the favor of Brownlee’s team, that could change right here. Brownlee needs a Tag just as badly as Batista, who was able to hit that Spear and definitely hurt Brownlee’s momentum.

Batista makes the hot Tag, and Chris West storms the ring with a purpose. Brownlee manages to make the Tag to Leon Lonewolf, who enters the ring for the first time ever in an actual Match. West’s at a disadvantage because he’s never faced Lonewolf or seen any of his moves, but he’s not going to let that discourage him. The slightly larger Lonewolf, maybe somewhere between Sheamus’ size and Zack Blaze’s size, is all business as he goes for a Lariat, but West ducks it. He runs to the ropes, off of them, and hits a Springboard Clothesline! Batista struggles to get to a vertical base on the apron as the crowd is solidly behind Chris West. West looks for the win—1! 2! No, Lonewolf gets the shoulder up! West’s not surprised, it is still early in the Match for these two and one move’s not likely to end the Match. Lonewolf shares some degrading words, and West doesn't bother responding, with words that is. He hits a couple of Right Hands to the face. West backs Jericho into the ropes, hits a knee to the chest. He Irish Whips Lonewolf into the opposite ropes and hits a second knee, this time taking the WWE Champion down with a Kitchen Sink. West looks to the crowd to some cheers, but quickly realizes that he needs to focus on the Match, because Batista’s injured and the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships are on the line. He tries a cover, but Lonewolf kicks out at one. West knows how the Match works, and needs to stay on his opponent without giving him a chance to recover. He gets Lonewolf to his feet and locks in the clutch, but Lonewolf counters out. He hits an Arm-Twist Neckbreaker, taking both West and himself down. He wills himself to the cover and hooks the leg, but West gets the shoulder up at two. The WWE Champion gets to his feet first. He hits a few kicks to the chest, yelling some insults throughout the process.

Lonewolf grabs West and applies a Reverse Chinlock, ensuring that his hands are locked tightly so West won't be able to break the hold. He drives his knee into the back of The Rapidfire Superstar, making his target-point clear. The crowd starts to clap, some stomp their feet as well, in an attempt to get the high-flyer back to his feet. "Give up!" Lonewolf yells, determined and focused. Slowly, he gets to a vertical base. He hits an elbow to the chest, and a few more get Lonewolf to break the hold. West rebounds off the ropes, but Lonewolf takes him down with a Forearm Smash; it's clear that the Submission Hold definitely took its toll. Lonewolf looks around the arena, smiling arrogantly. No undeserving Champion is going to make him look bad. He runs to the ropes and leaps off them, LIONSAULT, NO! West gets his knees up! Lonewolf grabs his chest in pain while West attempts to recover himself. He rolls toward Lonewolf and hooks the arm, rolling him forward. Cover, two, kickout! Both superstars roll to their feet and - having the same idea - take each other down with a hard-impact Clothesline. Both superstars fall to the mat. They take a ‘rest’ on the mat for about three seconds. Lonewolf rebounds off the ropes, going for a One-Handed Bulldog, but West pushes him into the ropes, blocking it. Lonewolf rebounds and West hits a Back Body Drop. He taunts to the crowd and gets a big pop. Looking to continue the momentum and constantly reminding himself that this victory is so important to both Batista and himself. He stands behind Lonewolf, bent half-way over, hands pressed against his knees. Lonewolf gets to his feet, West takes him down with a Clothesline. Lonewolf gets back to his feet, and West takes him down with another one! West taunts to the crowd, the momentum is starting to build, third Clothesline connects! West looks around the arena, off the ropes, looks for a Leg Drop, but Lonewolf rolls out of the way! West tries to get to his feet, having some trouble after missing the Leg Drop.

Matt Striker: Leon Lonewolf is just going toe-to-toe with Chris West here! I would say the difference is Tag Team Chemistry, but West and Batista have been doing quite well in this Match. As far as I’m concerned, what matters is ability, not how long you’ve been a Team.

Todd Grisham: Well said, Matt. Chris West has a lot riding on him right now because Batista’s not in the best way with his leg hurt right now. Still, Leon might want to make a Tag soon.

Lonewolf gets to his feet and connects with a Big Boot! Cover! 1! 2! Will Lonewolf be the one to win the Tag Team Titles for his Team?! No! West kicks out! Barely, but a kick-out’s a kick-out. Lonewolf yells at the Referee, who will have none of it. Lonewolf hits a kick to the side of the chest, and West rolls on the mat in pain. Lonewolf grabs the legs and goes for a Single Leg Boston Crab, but West wisely blocks it. He pushes Lonewolf into the ropes with his feet, Lonewolf rebounds, and West uses his feet to flip Lonewolf over him. The crowd cheers. Despite the pain, Chris West knows that they need to win this Match. After all the disrespect from their opponents, he and Batista have something to prove. Lonewolf goes for a Clothesline, but West grabs him! Flapjack Slam into the ropes, bounces, High-End Spinebuster! West flips into the Bridge! “1! 2! Three—no!” How close was that?! ‘West’ chants fill the arena and the crowd is louder than they were before. They want Batista and Chris West to retain, and a lot of them thought that move would have done the trick. West goes for the Rapidfire Plunge, quickly climbing to the top rope. Leon gets to his feet before West can jump, though, and makes the Tag to Hunter Steel. West jumps off the top, but actually lands behind Hunter, as Hunter moves forward to dodge the move. West manages to keep his balance well enough. He ducks a Clothesline and hits a Spinning Neckbreaker! Momentum beginning to build again, West knocks Brownlee off the apron with a Right Hand! Lonewolf grabs him and holds him so Hunter Steel can get a shot in, but West ducks it and Hunter knocks Lonewolf off the apron instead!

This isn’t going well for the challengers! Hunter turns around, and West hits a Step-Up Inziguri! He makes the Tag to Batista, who’s apparently well enough to come back into the Match! The crowd pops, as Hunter Steel doesn’t look to be in the best of situations himself now. He gets to his feet to see Batista standing behind him. Hunter tries a Right Hand, but Batista blocks it and connects with a Spinebuster! He shakes the ropes violently, then signals “Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down”. Batista pulls Hunter into a Powerbomb Position. Rather than just go for it, he waits as Chris climbs up to the top rope! RAPIDFIRE PLUNGE, BATISTA BOMB! That’s gonna do it! 1! 2! 3!

Winners [and still the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions]: Batista & Chris West

[After the thrilling Tag Team Match, the fans are quiet as they wait to see what’s next on the card. The lights in the arena go very dim, and a couple of purple lights come on as the camera pans to the center of the ring. The canvas is lined with red cloth; there is a large podium in the center of the ring and a large, black casket behind it. The boos begin pretty quickly as the fans realize they’re about to witness Russell Oxford hold The Undertaker’s ‘funeral’. The lights, still dim, the camera pans to the stage where Russell Oxford will join us momentarily to get this thing going.]

Russell Oxford

Michael Cole: Just an eerie feeling in the arena right now as Russell Oxford prepares to hold The Undertaker’s ‘funeral’. Now Russell claims he’s going to bury The Undertaker’s career and accomplishments and truly cement himself as the best there is in this business. Russell fought Undertaker in a Last Ride Match last month at Bragging Rights in a Last Ride Match, a Match which ‘Taker actually won, only to have Russell somehow take the wheel of the hurse, crash it into the stage, and proceeded to light the hurse on fire. It did explode, and we were never told if The Undertaker was found or anything else about the situation.

Jerry Lawler: We’ve seen The Undertaker come back from things like this before, but he’s never faced a threat quite like the gigantic, devastating Russell Oxford. This guy has literally crushed the entire WWE Roster, and The Undertaker was the last guy he hadn’t quite taken down yet. Well now he has, and now there’s no one to stop the colossal freak of nature. This guy’s just plain scary, Michael.

[In the mixture of boos and silence, Russell Oxford walks to the ring. He’s dressed in his usual ring attire, obviously not caring about dressing up for this ‘funeral’ that he’s using to prove just how good he really is. He takes his time walking to the podium, continuing to present historic moments in the short amount of time he’s been here. The fans don’t like him, and after his actions at Bragging Rights, they don’t really respect him either. The thing is, he really doesn’t care, and there’s not really anything anyone can do about it.]

Russell Oxford: I’d like to thank you all for coming, and ask you all to remain silent throughout this process to show me the respect I deserve. [This just makes the crowd boo more loudly.] You people have no choice but to show me respect, do you? I’ve beaten everyone there is to beat, and after I did that, I beat the ‘top dog’, the ‘one guy’ that no one’s ever beaten. The Undertaker and I faced each other a total of three times, and the first time I beat him, the second time he beat me. Then, we get to the third time. Now everyone can argue and say that he won; hell, it’s in the record books. But when we look back, it was me who made the impact, me who truly sent The Undertaker on his ‘Last Ride’. [More boos, some ‘You Suck’ chants now.] See, everyone The Undertaker has faced has backed down from him at one point or another. I never have, and I never will. Mind games? That’s a joke. In this sport, in this business this profession, there is no one, no one who can begin to hold a candle to my natural abilities and talent. So with all due respect to The Undertaker, because I’m not taking anything away from the guy, it’s time for me to stand in the spotlight. I’m the new Phenom. I’m the guy who everyone is going to fear, who everyone is going to run away from, and rightfully so. ‘Taker, you were good, you’re still good, but good is nothing compared to me. I don’t need to insult these people, because I don’t care about these people. I’m in this business for me, and no one else. Taker, I—

GONG{/b]!

The crowd goes nuts with cheers as the GONG interrupts Russell’s funeral speech. Russell turns his attention to the TitanTron, intrigued but not afraid. Nothing. There’s no sign of The Undertaker. Russell glances behind him quickly at the casket, aware of ‘Taker’s past actions and wanting to be sure that there won’t be any cheap shots.

[b]Russell Oxford
: Don’t get all excited. There’s nothing! The Undertaker is nothing! I beat him, he’s gone, he’ll never be back in the WWE because he’s not a fighter! He relies on nothing but childish mind games and that’s only going to get you so far! ‘Taker’s legend may live on forever, but his career is no more. [Russell turns around and kicks the casket right out of the ring. It falls to ringside and opens; there’s no one inside. He turns back to the podium.] You see? No mind games! The Undertaker may have faced some tough guys, but he’s never faced me! I’m not afraid of anything! Anything at all, especially not The Undertaker! [More boos, more ‘You Suck’ chants, and they just continue to get louder.] The Undertaker is gone, and it’s going to stay that way! I’m the only—

Michael Cole: This…Russell Oxford is just berating the legacy of ‘The Phenom’, and rubbing it in the faces of the WWE Universe that he truly has ended the career of one of their favorites. Enough is enough already, I don’t think this level of disrespect is—

The Undertaker

Michael Cole: HEY WAIT A MINUTE!

[Red lights flash throughout the arena and the lights come on. The fans rise out of their seats – all twenty-thousand of them – and turn their attentions toward the TitanTron as ‘You’re Gonna Pay’, the infamous ‘Big Evil’, theme plays throughout the arena. Russell Oxford kicks over the podium, clearly irate at the second interruption. He stares at the TitanTron until the feint sound of a motorcycle revving up can be heard. The cheers get louder and—he’s here! In a night of surprises, The Undertaker (Big Evil and all) drives out onto the stage on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with a pair of sunglasses over his eyes! The fans go absolutely nuts and Russell Oxford is beside himself.]

Jerry Lawler: Michael, I don’t believe what I’m seeing! Russell Oxford said he ended the career of The Undertaker, but The Undertaker is alive and well here tonight! This isn’t what Russell had in mind when he came to the arena tonight, and I—this is huge!

Michael Cole: That’s The Undertaker, but it’s ‘Big Evil’, ‘The American Badass’, and he appears to have stricken some fear of his own into the heart of Russell Oxford!

The Undertaker rides his motorcycle down the ramp, engines revving. He stops it at the end of the ramp and steps off of it slowly. The fans continue to cheer as Taker rips his sunglasses off and throws them on the ground. He stares at Russell Oxford, and if looks could kill, it’d be Russell’s funeral being held right now. Taker climbs onto the ring apron and Russell swings for him, but he quickly steps down. He lifts the ring apron, reaches underneath it, and pulls out a large, steel biker chain. It’s not really possible for the crowd to cheer any louder, but for the purpose of getting the point across, let’s say they do. He climbs back onto the apron, and Russell tries to hit him anyway. Russel throws him into the ring. He moves to continue the assault, but Taker wraps the chain around his fist and hits a shot right to the kidney. The crowd pops and Russell falls to one knee. Taker nails another shot, this one right to the skull, splitting ‘Taurus’ Russell Oxford open. A third shot takes Russell off his feet and out of the ring.

Michael Cole: Of all the things we’ve seen and will see tonight, this is the last thing I would have expected! Ladies and gentlemen, The Undertaker has shown up to his own funeral and crashed the party! Russell Oxford is no longer delivering speeches, because he’s been split open thanks to that biker chain! This has made tomorrow night’s RAW all the more exciting because The Undertaker is alive and well!

Jerry Lawler: This is the most shocking thing I’ve seen in years, Michael, and it’s still hard to take in, but The Undertaker, ‘Big Evil’, is back and he’s got one thing on his mind; take out Russell Oxford! Judging by Oxford’s state, I’d say he’s come pretty close to doing so! What a night it’s been so far!

Match: *DING DING!* The bell rings, the timer reads 0:01 as the first two competitors in this Match, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho, circle each other in the ring. Jericho’s already off to a bad start with his goal of winning this thing as he’s in the ring with ‘The World’s Strongest Man’, but then again other competitors will come out later that he can compete against, so he’s not too discouraged yet. Henry gets the crowd warmed up as he lifts his massive arms into the air. They cheer. Then, he points at Jericho, and they boo. Jericho is annoyed but ignores it as he wants to focus on the Match. Who cares about the stupid fans and what they think of him? Henry figures he might as well get the victory early. He swings for Jericho, who uses his size to his advantage to duck. Jericho kicks Henry in the side of his right knee, then again. He rebounds off the ropes building up a little bit of momentum as he tries to take Mark Henry down with a Dropkick to the knee, but Henry floors him with a Forearm. The crowd pops and you can see a smile on the face of ‘The World’s Strongest Man’. Henry grabs Jericho with ease and throws him into the corner. He pulls a Big Show as he hits a hard slap to the chest. Jericho cringes at the pain. Henry takes a couple of steps back, maybe three or four. He taunts for the crowd and yells before running, Jericho’s going to get squashed here! CORNER SPLASH! For Jericho’s own sake, he ducks out of the corner and Henry runs into the turnbuckle. Jericho hits a Dropkick to the back, not wanting to waste the small advantage he just gained. Henry collides with the turnbuckle again. Jericho goes for a Schoolboy Pin! 1! 2! Henry rolls the shoulder up!

Jericho glances at the timer to see that it currently reads 3:47. In under two minutes, the next superstar will make his way down to the ring and it’ll be even more difficult for Jericho to win the Championship. He runs toward Henry, who sort of looks at him foolishly as he knows there’s no way Jericho can overpower him. Jericho outsmarts Henry, though. He slides through Henry’s legs, then hits a Dropkick to the back of his right knee, taking his leg out from under him. Henry falls to the mat. Jericho wastes no time and connects with a Dropkick right to the face. He goes for the cover, hooking one of Henry’s massive legs. 1! 2! ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ kicks out with emphasis, throwing Jericho half-way across the ring in the process. ‘Let’s go Henry’ chants can be heard throughout the arena. Mark Henry tries to get to his feet. He hasn’t held a World Title in quite some time, and he sees this as his opportunity to hold it again. Henry runs for Jericho, who pulls himself to his feet in the corner, but his leg gives out on him half-way and he sort of trips to the mat. The clock reads 4:23 as Jericho struggles for a second to figure out what’s going on. He gets it, though, and runs out of the corner. CODEBREAKER! With Henry down on one knee, Jericho was able to hit the move! Our ‘Savior’ hooks the leg of Henry once more, he might get it! 1! 2! 3!

Winner [and the Interim Champion @ 4:31]: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho rolls to the side, as far away from Mark Henry as possible. The fans boo as loudly as possible to express their dislike over this. Too bad for them there’s not much they can do about it.

Michael Cole: Well there’s an upset in the early going here, King, and not a good one at that for the other four competitors. Chris Jericho vowed to win the World Title here tonight, and he’s on the right track to doing so. If Chris Jericho can hold on to the World Title for the next fifteen minutes, he’ll leave here with the Gold.

Jerry Lawler: I’m not surprised that Chris Jericho was able to pin Mark Henry; I definitely saw that as a possibility and the fact that he did it in such a short amount of time really shows how talented this guy is. That said, Chris Jericho is smart and he’s going to do all that he can to make sure no one else scores a pinfall or submission in this Match.

Shawn Michaels

‘Sexy Boy’ hits to a tremendous ovation as the (technically) current World Champion makes his way onto the stage. No taunts for Michaels tonight, who hurriedly makes his way to the ring rather than do the usual routine.

The clock reads 5:07 as Michaels slides into the ring. Right as he slides in, Jericho slides out. The crowd boos as they want to see Jericho and Michaels fight, but then again Mark Henry’s already in bad shape so Michaels could just pin him to get his Championship back. Henry gets to his feet, but has a little trouble standing. He taunts for Michaels to come and fight him. Michaels looks to his left; the crowd cheers. He looks to his right; the crowd cheers. Jericho’s still on the outside. Michaels shrugs his shoulders, then runs right for Henry! And the Champion fires away with Right Hands to the face! Michaels tries to Irish Whip ‘The World’s Strongest Man’, but finds himself not able to do so. Henry blocks his Irish Whip and performs one of his own, sending Michaels into the ropes. Michaels rebounds and goes for a Flying Clothesline, but Henry basically pushes him to the mat in mid-air with a hard Forearm. Some disappointed fans boo as Michaels has already been taken down in this Match, and he’s obviously the favorite. ‘HBK’ chants fill the arena. Michaels is in pain, but he’s far from out; he’s just getting warmed up. He worked too hard to become the Champion only to lose the belt in his first Title Defense. Mark Henry picks Shawn Michaels up; he stands him up, then grabs him and slams him on the mat hard with a Scoop Slam. Michaels’ back hits the canvas and pain surges through his body, but he’ll get over it. Mark Henry rebounds off the ropes, he goes for a BIG SPLASH! Four-hundred plus pounds landing on the much smaller Shawn Michaels would definitely spell the end for ‘HBK’! Wait, wait Michaels rolls out of the way! How close was that?! Shawn Michaels breathes a sigh of relief as Mark Henry uncomfortably collides with the canvas. If he’s in pain, imagine how the ring must feel. As Henry gets to his knees, Michaels runs toward him, Michaels hits a Clothesline! Both superstars are down—MICHAELS KIPS UP! The crowd pops! Chris Jericho’s still resting on the outside.

The clock reads 8:35 as Shawn Michaels looks around the jam-packed arena at the thousands upon thousands of fans, excited to see him and tons of other competitors in thrilling Matches. Michaels exits to the ring apron, all the while keeping his eyes on Chris Jericho who – for some reason – hasn’t decided to interfere in this contest yet. Michaels ascends to the top turnbuckle, his back in a little bit of pain but nothing he can’t handle. As Mark Henry’s down, Michaels takes flight! DROPS THE ELBOW! Right to the heart! Shawn Michaels in a craze is feeling the momentum now! ‘HBK’ chants ring through the arena once again as it could be time to tune up the band! Boom! Michaels slams his boot on the mat! Boom! The crowd is stomping along with him! As Mark Henry begins to get to his feet, having little-to-no idea where he is or what’s going on after Michaels just took him down, he turns around, and Michaels hits SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Mark Henry falls, slowly and backwards, to the mat. The bigger they are, the harder they fall! Chris Jericho gets up onto the ring apron, hoping to catch Michaels off-guard before he makes the cover! SWEET CHIN MUSIC TO JERICHO! While he’s on the apron and all! Jericho falls right back to ringside! Michaels with the lateral press! 1! 2! 3!

Winner [and the Interim Champion @ 9:27]: Shawn Michaels

Michael Cole: He got it! Shawn Michaels, ‘Vintage HBK!’ has just pinned ‘The World’s Strongest Man’! As you just saw, Chris Jericho wasted a little too much time on the outside, and I think he realizes that now! We’ve got two competitors left in this Match, those being Tyson Kidd and Striker Boyd, and we know both Boyd and Kidd are hungry for gold, so Shawn Michaels better make sure he holds onto that Championship tightly if he wants to leave this arena with it!

Jerry Lawler: It’s safe to say tonight isn’t going well for Mark Henry, who I actually talked to earlier today; he told me that tonight was his night, and that he was going to leave with the Title, but that’s everyone’s mindset heading into big Matches like this. Unfortunately, unless Mark Henry is able to turn things around in the next ten minutes, he’s not going anywhere with the World Title.

‘HBK’ chants ring throughout the arena as all three competitors currently in this Match are down, and tired. Michaels lay on the mat, attempting to distance himself from Mark Henry so that he can recover. Chris Jericho is dazed and down on the outside after being kicked in the face, and Mark Henry’s been pinned twice so he’s not in the best of conditions right now either. The clock reads 9:49 and the fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the next superstar in this Match.

Tyson Kidd

‘The Dynamo’ enters the arena, this being his first time competing on such a big stage. Since breaking out as a Singles ‘Star’, Tyson Kidd has been able to garner a lot of support from the fans, and there are a lot of people who would enjoy seeing him win the Title tonight. Still, Shawn Michaels is the favorite and Tyson Kidd knows the odds are against him at least from an experience standpoint. He gets a nice ovation from the crowd as he – like the rest of the competitors – has a fast pace heading to the squared circle.

Michael Cole: This is go time for Tyson Kidd, King. On one hand he has an advantage because all three of his opponents are a lot older and have already taken a lot of punishment in this Match. On the other hand, they all have more experience and have proven that they can come back from tougher fights. So, Tyson Kidd getting the win here would instantly boost him to stardom. However, that’s going to be much easier said than done if you ask me.

Tyson Kidd slides into the ring, and the clock reads 10:07. Jericho and Mark Henry are down, but the veteran Shawn Michaels wastes no time confronting his much younger opponent. The two stand face-to-face in the ring, and Tyson Kidd has a surreal feeling as this is a huge opportunity for him. He’s beaten Chris Jericho twice, and now to beat Shawn Michaels all in the same month, that’s something he never dreamed would be possible. The two lock-up in the center of the ring, and it seems neither one is able to overpower the other. Michaels goes for a Left Hand, but Tyson ducks it. He ducks under. He goes for a kick, and Michaels blocks it. Tyson tries to find a way out of this situation. Impressively, he flips backwards and lands on his feet. Even Michaels is impressed. Michaels moves forward, and Kidd catches him with an Arm Drag! ‘HBK’ rolls back to his feet, and Tyson runs forward as well! Hits a Spinning Wheel Kick! Tyson tries the cover, could get it here! 1! 2! What an opportunity—no! Shawn Michaels is able to kick out! Tyson’s a bit discouraged, but he shrugs it off quickly. He glances at the time to see that the timer reads 12:29, leaving him with a decent amount of time. Tyson grabs Michaels and pulls him into a Suplex Position, but Mark Henry is up now and takes them both down with a Double-Arm Clothesline! Jericho tries to sneak up on Henry by climbing to the top rope! He goes for a Crossbody, but Mark Henry catches him! Uh-oh! WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM! Mark Henry takes Jericho down! Henry into the cover—1! 2! Tyson breaks it up! The crowd pops; Michaels is still the Champion, and well Tyson made a heroic save so he can have a couple of cheers too.

Tyson, after breaking up the move that nearly gave Mark Henry the World Title, turns around to some Sweet Chin Music! Or an attempt, that is! Michaels goes for it, but Tyson ducks it and – unfortunately – Chris Jericho gets decked with his second dose of Sweet Chin Music this evening! It’s the RAW Main Event, the crowd is hot, and RAW is being well-represented here! Tyson grabs Michaels, hits a Snap DDT! Michaels didn’t expect it and Tyson might have just taken him out thanks to some quick thinking and impressive speed. Tyson tries the cover, hooking both legs of the World Champion! 1! 2! 3—No! Shawn Michaels gets his right leg on the bottom rope! Tyson Kidd is in shock; he can’t believe it. The first time he sort of accepted it, but the second time, in the spur of the moment when he was sure he had the Title, Shawn Michaels found a way to kick out again! ‘Tyson’ chants and ‘HBK’ chants continue to circulate the arena, Jericho and Henry getting little to no love from the fans. Michaels sits up; he’s continuing to battle with all he’s got. Trying to make himself feel better, he knows all he’s gotta do is last another six minutes as the clock reads 14:01. Striker Boyd will be down to the ring soon and that’ll make things even more complicated for him to hold onto the Title. In a last-ditch effort to put this thing away, Tyson Kidd leaps over Michaels, then rebounds off the ropes and hits a Throwback, flipping over the sitting Michaels! He exits to the ring apron. Tyson Kidd put Jericho away with this same move on RAW Monday! He jumps from the ring apron to the top rope, SPRINGBOARD ELBOW DROP! It connects! 1! 2! 3—Jericho breaks it up! The crowd actually boos this. They want Michaels to be Champion, but seeing Tyson win would’ve been cool too since this is his first Title Match.

Striker Boyd

The excitement level continues to pick up as ‘Indestructible’ plays throughout the arena! The Former World Heavyweight Champion Striker Boyd puts the reactions of Tyson Kidd, Mark Henry, and Chris Jericho to shame as he runs into the arena, full of energy! He taunts for the fans on the stage and gets a big pop; he’s ready to win back his Title. Despite having respect for Shawn Michaels, Striker’s main goal is to—hey! Wait a minute! Who the hell? Out of seemingly nowhere but really from in the back, a very in-shape athlete, bald and wearing a pair of black tights that Match his black wrestling boots, hits Striker Boyd with a merciless Clothesline to the back of the head. The cheers and excitement quickly turn to boos and concern as Striker looks to be out of it on the mat. Whoever this guy is, he’s just made himself hated by taking out a huge fan favorite. Apparently he doesn’t care, as he’s not done yet. He grabs Boyd and throws him head-first into the TitanTron Wall. Boyd’s head clanks against the steel and it echoes throughout the arena. ‘You Suck!’ chants fill the arena as this mysterious man stands over the now-unconscious Striker Boyd.

Michael Cole: What the hell? What did we just witness here? This guy, whoever he is, just brutally attacked Striker Boyd! Striker was about to go down to the ring as the final entrant in the Championship Scramble, but I’m not really sure how that’s going to happen now! This—this guy has just absolutely annihilated the Former World Champion!

Whoever this new guy is, he’s wasted no time making himself hated by the fans, but it appears that he could care less as he takes one last look at his work and heads to the back. Shawn Michaels and the rest of the competitors inside the ring watch for a moment, perhaps concerned to an extent about the condition of Striker Boyd as medics help him to the back.

Jerry Lawler: I wasn’t sure if they were going to replace Striker Boyd with someone else, but I’ve just received word that Shane McMahon has decided that the Match will continue as-is; there’s only three minutes and thirty seconds left anyway. We’ll try to update you on Striker’s condition as soon as possible.

Chris Jericho doesn’t care about Striker, but he does care about winning. This established, Jericho grabs Michaels and attempts a Backslide Pin! 1! 2! No, Tyson Kidd Dropkicks Jericho in the side of the head! Tyson’s made the save, but his celebration is short-lived as Mark Henry takes him down with a Double-Arm Clothesline. Henry continues the attack, picking Kidd up, goes for the World’s Strongest Slam, and he hits it! WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM! Henry turns around for just a second, and that’s when it’s too late as Shawn Michaels blasts him with some Sweet Chin Music! ‘The World’s Strongest Man’ takes ‘The World’s Most Disappointing Fall’ to the canvas. With only ten seconds left on the clock and all three superstars down, Michaels has this thing won.

Winner [and still the World Heavyweight Champion]: Shawn Michaels

Michael Cole: A big win for Shawn Michaels, just stopping Mark Henry in his tracks here tonight! Michaels said that he was going to retain the Title and stay on top of the mountain, and he’s done just that! And not to take away from the importance of Michaels’ win, but from what I’m told Striker Boyd isn’t in the best of conditions. He’s being rushed to a nearby medical facility as we speak.

Jerry Lawler: Well I hope that everything’s okay for Striker Boyd, especially because he’s supposed to be competing in the Superstar of the Year Battle Royal tomorrow night. My question is, who the hell is responsible for that attack? I have no idea who that guy is, and apparently neither does anyone else.

Match: Randy Orton wastes no time in swinging bombshells at Zachariah Graves. Graves responds in kind after a few shots from Orton, another blow from Orton, one from Graves, both superstars are feeling it! Orton takes the advantage with another shot, Orton comes off the ropes, Graves runs forward and drops the Legend Killer with a brutal clothesline! Zachariah rolls from the ring as soon as the move hits and begins to feel around below for a weapon. Graves emerges with a Singapore cane, Orton spots it, as he gets to his feet, Graves back into the ring, he takes a powerful swing at Randy Orton Boom! Orton dodges and plants Graves face first onto the ground with an RKO! The crowd are going wild! Randy could probably get a cover here but that's not the aim of this match. The Viper grabs the cane and waits for Graves to get to his feet, cane to the face! Graves gets sent through the second rope with an absolutely devastating shot from Orton!

Jim Ross: Oh and that shot right to the head! Randy Orton is exacting revenge and damnit I can’t blame him for that! Orton took a brutal, uncalled for assault at Bragging Rights and I for one hope that tonight he gives Zachariah Graves a taste of his own medicine!

Josh Matthews: J.R. it’s not often you take sides, and I try not to either, but I fully agree with you here. Randy Orton has been through hell the past couple of months because of Zachariah Graves and I think Zachariah Graves might be regretting that just a little bit!

Randy Orton leaves the ring in pursuit for Graves who slowly starts to stand. Orton drops the Cane and attempts another RKO! Graves Counters Zachariah Graves launches Orton straight into the ring post! The Referee quickly slides out of the ring to check Orton for blood, he finds nothing and waves for the match to continue. The Legend Killer starts to get to his feet and Graves charges, looking for that cruel head-kick he's become known for. Orton dodges, Graves kicks the steel post! Inverted Backbreaker to Graves! Orton quickly gets back to his feet and delivers a stomp to the arm! The chest! One to the face! Another! Another one! Orton moves aside while the Referee checks Graves? Is there blood? No! The Referee signals for this match to continue! Orton smiles and backs up, looking to end it right here, looking for that career-ending Punt! The fans pop massively!

Jim Ross: Orton’s lining him up! If anything’ll get the job done now, that Punt will be sure to do it! Orton’s got him--!

Orton runs this is it! No! Graves manages to trip Orton into the steel post!

Josh Matthews: So close, but Zachariah Graves knew where he was in the ring and managed to block it!

Orton blocks with his arms! Graves tries to shake the cobwebs from his clouded mind, as he grabs the Singapore cane he introduced into the match! He swings wildly at Orton who ducks the shot! Crash! Graves slams the cane into the ring post causing shards of wood to spray all over the ring-side area! Seemingly no-one is struck by these, but Graves does drop the cane as pain from the impact seems to have traveled down through the cane into his hand. Orton quickly moves back into the ring Graves makes no attempt to follow for the moment, instead he ducks back under the ring and produces a table, he smirks to the fans as Randy Orton looks on and the crowd boo heavily. Graves sets up the table on the outside as Orton simply allows him to do so.

Graves slides back into the ring and takes a stomp to the back of the head, and another one! Orton with a kick to the head! Graves rolls on to his back and Randy Orton hammers him with right an left stomps to the face! The diligent Referee quickly checks the wounded Graves Still no blood!? The resilience of Zachariah Graves is really on display here! Graves rolls from the ring and starts to stand on the apron! Bad idea! Orton grabs Graves and pulls his feet onto the second rope looking for that DDT! Orton hits it! An injured Zachariah Graves falls to the mat below and still no blood! Orton rolls Graves out onto the apron and stands out on it himself. The fans seem confused as Graves starts to pull himself up using the ropes. Orton with a European Uppercut! Graves turns and nearly falls through the table but manages to grab the ropes, Orton in turn grabs Graves' neck! The crowd goes absolutely wild as it becomes clear that Orton's looking to RKO Graves through the table!

Jim Ross: Oh my God! Orton’s got evil – but justified – intentions here! He’s looking to drive Zachariah Graves through that Table, and Zachariah’s in no man’s land! This won’t turnout good for either superstar!

Orton looks for the RKO but Graves hangs on to the ropes! Orton clears the table and lands with a sickening thud on the other side! A very dazed, very sore Zachariah Graves leans injured against the ropes. Finally after catching his breath he drops to the floor along-side the Table and pulls Randy Orton into position for a power bomb! Graves charges with Orton on his shoulders! Powerbomb Into the corner of the security wall! Graves looks to follow it up with a kick to the head! Maybe stealing a page out of Orton's book here! The fans hate it! Graves charges and hits a kick to the gut, Graves smirks to the crowd and raises his hand to mammoth heat! Graves is getting confident! He hoists Orton from the ground to his shoulders displaying his strength prominently

Graves starts to walk menacingly toward the table, Is he looking for Graveyard Law through the table!? Orton slips out onto his feet! European Uppercut! Another one, and a few shots to the face. Irish Whip! Graves blocks it and both men start to trade blows with one another! Both superstars continue to trade blows and start to battle up the ramp! Orton takes the advantage! Graves staggers back! He comes in and attempts the clothesline, Orton ducks it [b]Inverted Back Breaker! For the second time in the Match Orton drops Graves with that vicious Back Breaker! Orton cuts through the ring, and in an attempt to create separation, and to arm himself, he grabs the handle and what's left of the blade of the shattered cane. He re-enters the ring and awaits Zachariah Graves' re-entrance.

Graves gets to his feet and begins to re-enter the ring! Orton swings his shattered weapon at Graves and connects with a shot to the back a head shot could easily have busted Graves wide open, but Orton might simply want to inflict punishment to Graves, or maybe he was just hitting him where he could. Graves staggers slightly and is clearly in great pain. The fans pop seeing the expression on his face! Orton delivers another shot with the weapon! Graves staggers back to the corner! Orton charges Graves catches Orton with a kick to the skull! Sends him sprawling back into Referee causing them both to collapse to the ground! The fans absolutely hate this, the boos in the arena are deafening but Graves could care less In fact he seems to love the negative attention! He grabs the broken cane from the ground and starts to measure Orton. The fans boo the entire time as Orton starts to pull himself up, having crawled to the ropes.

Jim Ross: Oh my God…Randy Orton might be out of it, Josh. You saw that kick connect right to the face, and don’t let the fact that Randy Orton got back up fool you. This kid’s got no idea where he is right now; someone needs to do something before this gets too far out of hand. I know it’s First Blood, but some things just go too far, and this is one of them!

Graves just begins to toy with Orton at this point. As Orton leans against the ropes, borderline unconscious, Graves hits a Right Hand to the skull. Orton tries to hold his balance, but has some trouble doing so. ‘RKO’ chants fill the arena as the crowd tries to get behind Orton, but there’s no success. That kick has taken others out and there’s not much Orton can do about it. Zachariah exits the ring, not worried about Orton building up any more offense. He looks under the ring apron, and smiles. He pulls out a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. He holds it and looks at it with evil intentions. Zachariah enters the ring, and kicks out the back of Orton’s leg, tripping Orton to the mat. He stands behind Orton now, planning to deliver the finishing touch. This’ll be it for Orton, as—the crowd pops huge and that gets Zachariah’s attention as Devon Immortal races down the ramp and slides into the ring. Zachariah tries to hit him with the bat, but Devon’s momentum from running to the ring lets him duck it. He hits a kick to the chest and Zachariah drops the bat. Devon Irish Whips him into the ropes and tries to fire away with some Right Hands! He’s seen enough, and he’s not going to stand around and watch Zachariah Graves take someone else out. As Devon goes for The Immortal Technique, Zachariah blocks it. He lifts Devon onto this shoulders! This isn’t good! [b]GRAVEYARD LAW{/b]! Zachariah Graves throws Devon to the outside of the ring.

Zachariah turns around to deliver the finishing touches, but Orton’s up! With barely any life left, Orton goes for an RKO! He’s—Zachariah blocks it! He pushes Orton into the corner! Orton bounces off the turnbuckle, and Zachariah hits a DDT right on the Barbed Wire Bat! He begins to bleed, but the Referee hardly notices as Zachariah slides Orton out of the ring. Zachariah moves a limp Orton toward the table, and the Referee notices the blood. He calls for the bell.

Winner: Zachariah Graves

That’s not going to stop Zachariah, as he’s got one last thing in mind. He pulls Orton into a Powerbomb Position, lifts him up, and Powerbombs him right through the table on the outside! The camera pans to an image of Orton laying in a heap of broken table, and covered in blood as Zachariah Graves stands over him, remorseless.
